Last year when we finally decided it was time to have an investor/developer forum at the International Mass Timber Conference & Expo (IMTC), we had no idea if it would be successful and had no idea how many would attend, but to our surprise it was a huge success and over 600 attended. Five developers pitched real projects to real investors on that stage, and three of them walked out of the room in active discussions with capital. That’s when we knew “The Boardroom” couldn’t be a one-time experiment.
If we want to scale mass timber, we have to bridge the gap between visionary developers and the financial community. That’s why I am thrilled to announce that The Boardroom officially returns even bigger for IMTC 2027 on Wednesday, March 17, from 1:00–3:00 PM at the Oregon Convention Center.
The call for submissions is open now through Friday, November 13. If you have a project that needs capital, this is your direct line to the people who can fund it.
